Hundred Talents Program is a program launched by the Chinese Academy of Sciences with high objectives, high standards, and strong support. The standard of the Overseas High-Level Talent Youth Program of the Chinese Academy of Science is equivalent to NSFC Outstanding Young Scholar. The C-class of Hundred Talents Program requires the candidates to study or work in well-known overseas universities and scientific research institutions for at least 3 years and have made outstanding achievements in the research field with unique innovative ideas. After selected and work for 2-3 years, they take another defense, and the excellent candidates are selected in the Overseas High-Level Talent Youth Program. Professor Li Xiao joined the ICT and selected in the C-class of Hundred Talents Program in 2017. He passed the preferred defense and selected in the Overseas High-Level Talent Youth Program in 2020.
Dr. Li Xiao published 20+ papers in the top journals or conferences such as Science, IEEE TMI, MICCAI, JCTC, including 11 first-author papers. He serves as a reviewer for several top journals or conferences such as CVPR，IJCAI，AAAI，MICCAI. He is also a developer and author of Amber, the leading software packages in molecular dynamics. He has won: Justine-Lambert Prize for graduate research in fundamental sciences, Chinese government award for outstanding self-financed students abroad, CCF-Tencent rhinoceros fund, StarTrack Program in the Microsoft research in Asia.
